Printing from the
Student Computing Center and the Reserve Book Room

Make sure you have sufficient funds on your SDSUCard or Library Guest Copy Card account. If you do not have an account, please go to the front desk for assistance.

Preview your print job before sending it, usually by choosing File/Print Preview from the program's main menu. This allows you to make sure that the printout you will be paying for is really what you want. NOTE: Print Preview is your responsibility! We cannot give refunds for print jobs that print out as they appear in Print Preview, no matter how silly they may look.

Send your print job from your computer workstation, usually by choosing File/Print from the program's main menu. Remember your workstation number (LAB####, EPC#### or MAC####).

1. Go to a printer. There are printers at each end of the SCC and one at the front of the RBR. Each will have a Printing Station computer.
2. Swipe your SDSUCard or Guest Copy Card through the card reader at the Printing Station, with the black stripe down and towards you. You should see the following as you swipe:
or
3. After a few seconds, the Printing Station will display a list of print jobs:
4. Find your print job(s) and click to select and unselect them as needed. Selected print jobs will be highlighted in yellow:
5. Click the Print button near the lower right-hand corner of the screen.

Your print out should now begin to print.

Guest Card Users:

There is a $1 charge for the magnetic card, which initially has a value of $0. If you have just purchased the card, you must deposit additional funds in your guest account before you can print. We recommend using your SDSUCard student ID, which is free and has other advantages as well.
